REED READY FOR FIRST CALIFORNIA TRIP
Reed on California...

“We were really fast at testing here earlier this month,” Sorenson said.  “I am really looking forward to running the race here on Saturday especially after the strong run we had last week at Daytona.  The Discount Tire team is off to a great start this season and I know we can get a good finish again this weekend at California.”
Tire Fast Fact: Rotating your tires periodically is an essential part of tire maintenance. The main purpose of regularly rotating tires is to achieve more uniform wear for all tires on the vehicle. If no rotation period or pattern is to be found in your owner's documentation, rotate your tires at least every 6,000 miles

Chassis: The Discount Tire team will race chassis #454 at California Speedway.  This is the same car that Sorenson and the DTC crew tested at Fontana earlier this month.

Rookie of the Year: Sorenson’s ninth place finish gave him the lead over Carl Edwards in the Raybestos® Rookie standings by two points (13-11) entering the Stater Bros. 300 at California Speedway.

Media Alert: A new primary and associate sponsor on the No. 42 NASCAR Nextel Cup Dodge driven by Jamie McMurray and the No. 41 NASCAR Busch Series Dodge piloted by Raybestos Rookie Candidate Sorenson will be announced and unveiled on Friday morning at California Speedway.
