Reed Sorenson and the No. 41 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit Dodge Team Facts:

Reed On TRACKSIDE NOW From Chicago: Be sure to watch Reed Sorenson on TRACKSIDE this Friday, July 13.  Sorenson will join hosts Steve Byrnes, Larry McReynolds, Jeff Hammond and Elliot Sadler as they discuss this weekend’s event and the latest news on the NASCAR scene.  The show will air live from Chicagoland Speedway at 7 p.m. ET on SPEED.
Good to the Last Drop!®:  Maxwell House coffee, a brand of Kraft Foods, will have logo placement on the upper rear quarter panels of the No. 41 Target Dodge this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. 

Take Me Out to the Ball Game:  Sorenson will be throwing out the first pitch for the Chicago Cubs vs. San Fran. Giants game at Wrigley Field on Mon., July 16.  Additionally, Sorenson, along with his CGRFS teammates Juan Pablo Montoya and David Stremme, will sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch.  The game is set to start at 6:05 p.m. CT and will air on ESPN. 

NASCAR Performance: Target team crew chief Jimmy Elledge will be substituting for regular host Chad Knaus on NASCAR Performance while Knaus serves a six week suspension.  Elledge’s first show was last weekend at Daytona and the next four include Chicagoland, Indianapolis, Pocono and Watkins Glen.  Each week, NASCAR Performance on SPEED provides a crew chief’s technical perspective on the hottest NASCAR topics and a preview of that weekend’s race.  Elledge will accompany NEXTEL Cup Series crew chief Booty Barker and FOX race analyst Larry McReynolds live from the track each week.

Points Update:  The Target team is currently 29th in the overall NEXTEL Cup Series standings.  The team is 117 points out of 25 and 240 outside of the top 20. 
Chassis: Crew chief Jimmy Elledge and the Target team have selected chassis
#705 for this weekend’s race.  This car has previously been raced at Pocono (24th), Texas (40th) and Atlanta (ninth).  Sorenson had one of the strongest cars in the field at Texas, led laps and was running seventh when he experienced engine problems.

Be Sure to Tune In:  The USG Sheetrock 400 is set to go green at 3 p.m. ET Saturday.  The race will air live on TNT, MRN radio and Sirius Satellite Radio channel 128.
