Sorenson and Target Team finish 30th at Dover International Speedway
After a long day of fighting a mishandling race car, the No. 41 Target Team and Reed Sorenson finish 30th at Dover International Speedway (DIS) for the 28th race of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) season.
Sorenson took the green flag 39th and quickly radioed his team to report his car was tight through the center and loose off. Luckily, the second caution of the race flew on lap 13 and pit road was opened for a round of yellow flag pit stops. Crew Chief Donnie Wingo and the Target Team slightly decreased the left-side air pressure with hopes of alleviating the handling issues.

Unfortunately, the handling issues continued and Sorenson was unable to make up any substantial ground on the field, running only as high as 29th. Sorenson and the Target Team took the checkered flag five laps down in the 30th position.
The No. 41 Team remains 30th in the NSCS owner standings, 363 points out of the top 25.
The team heads to Kansas Speedway this weekend for the Camping World RV 400 on Sunday Sept. 28. The race is scheduled to go green at 2 p.m. ET with live coverage on ABC.
