100th NSCS Start: Sorenson will be making his 100th NSCS start this weekend in New Hampshire. His first start came in October 2005 at Sorenson's home track of Atlanta Motor Speedway. The 22-year-old has one pole, five top-five and 13 top-10 finishes in NASCAR’s premier series.

Congratulations Target!: Target Chip Ganassi Racing (TCGR) claimed their sixth open-wheel crown Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway as Scott Dixon drove his No. 9 Target Honda Dallara to a second-place finish, locking up the 2008 IndyCar Series championship in the final race of the season. Previously, TCGR won CART championships with Jimmy Vasser (1996), Alex Zanardi (1997-98), Juan Pablo Montoya (1999), and Dixon’s first IndyCar title in 2003.

Last Loudon Race: The Target Dodge started the 301-lap event sixth and continued to race in the top 10 for the first 60 laps. During green-flag stops on lap 70, Crew Chief Donnie Wingo called for four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment. Throughout several cautions, the team continued to work on the car to provide more rear grip on the Target Dodge. During the final caution of the event on lap 280, Wingo elected to stay out since rain was lingering in the nearby area. The call proved to be a good one when the race was declared officially over on lap 284 due to rain.
Bullseye Bodegas: Target announced the launch of its Bullseye Bodegas, four limited-time-only stores that celebrate the retailer's pioneering designer partnerships and commitment. Open to the public from September 12-15, each bodega will feature an edited selection of the trendiest and most affordable products from its designer partners across home, fashion, accessories and beauty. Taking a playful spin off of a traditional New York bodega, or corner store, each Bullseye Bodega will also offer New Yorkers the opportunity to shop upcoming limited-time collections before they hit Target stores.
FORE!: Sorenson participated in Dale Jarrett's annual charity golf tournament Tuesday, September 9, at the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn. Sorenson was paired up with WBTV Sports Anchor Delano Little and PGA golf pro Mark Johnson. The Dale Jarrett Foundation is dedicated to assisting charitable causes primarily in the Catawba Valley of Western North Carolina, as well as other North Carolina and national charities. The Dale Jarrett Foundation provides contributions and grants for the religious, physical, social and educational needs of children and families trying to cope in today's society.
