Richard Petty Motorsports drivers will start Sunday’s race at Phoenix International Raceway as follows:

4th — Kasey Kahne, No. 9 Budweiser Dodge

16th — AJ Allmendinger, No 44 Ford. Drive One.

35th — Elliott Sadler, No 19 Insignia Dodge

40th — Reed Sorenson, No. 43 Paralyzed Veterans of America Dodge

· Martin Truex won his third pole of the year with a lap of 26.643 seconds.

· Top three qualifiers were Truex, Kurt Busch and Jimmie Johnson.

· Kahne (fourth) posted his 19th top-10 start of 2009.

· Two practice sessions are scheduled for Saturday.

· Race coverage begins Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC and MRN Radio.
