Damage Leads to 34th Run in Vegas

Vegas Notes...

· Sorenson started 39th

· Suffered from flu like symptoms prior to the race

· Ran as high as 20th prior to a spin on lap 140 to bring out the caution

· Suffered right rear damage in the spin causing him to fall off the lead lap

· Finished 34th and gained 61 points

· Currently sits 25th in driver/owner points

Sorenson on Cali:

“We started pretty good. We were going to the front. I thought we were going to have a really good finish. The Valvoline Dodge was fast. We just got messed up on the backstretch and we did some damage. There are going to be days like this. It is a long season and we just had to battle through it. A lot of teams had trouble today, we weren’t the only ones. It was all about survival out there.“
