TALLADEGA POST RACE NOTES

Sorenson started  at the rear of the field due to an engine change prior to qualifying and finished 11th  in the debut of the Air Force Dodge

Sorenson ran at the front of the field for most of the race.

Sorenson made a nice save when the No. 43 cut a tire and scraped the wall on lap 114.

The pit stop dropped him a lap behind the leader that he eventually regained on lap 147.

Sorenson avoided the last lap wreck to charge forward and finish 11th

The No. 43 is now 24th in driver/owner points.

SORENSON: “We had a pretty good start to the day, but then I cut a right-rear tire about half-way through the race.  Luckily we were in Turn 4 and avoided a wreck somehow and were able to get the car down pit road and get it fixed.  We got back out there, got our lucky dog, and just rode our way to the best finish that we could.”
