MICHIGAN POST RACE NOTES

 

• Sorenson finished 27th and is now 26th in the point standings.

• Sorenson reported his car lacked grip in the opening third of the race.

• After falling down a lap around lap 70, Sorenson ran with the fastest cars on the track.

• Sorenson successfully saved fuel in the closing laps while others ran out.

SORENSON- “We fought handling all day long. I thought we were going to get the Lucky Dog there but there just weren’t enough cautions. We’re just a little off and if we can figure a few things out we will be up there with the leaders. Today was OK but we expect better.”
