Reed Sorenson on Charlotte Motor Speedway:

“With Charlotte Motor Speedway being a ‘home track’ for most NASCAR teams, there are always a lot of friends and family at the track, which makes a win here that much more fun. This is actually where I won my first ASA race. The Braun Racing teams have a great track record here with two wins and a pole position in recent years. This Dollar General team has had a solid season. We have learned a lot so far with these ‘new cars’ and I think that we’ll unload strong for Wednesday’s practice sessions. This Dollar General team is hungry for a win and this weekend it would be extra-special to pull into victory lane because Dollar General is also the title sponsor of the race.”

Sorenson on his pink No. 10 Dollar General Toyota and his pledge to Susan G. Komen for the Cure:

“Breast cancer hits home for a lot of us here at Braun Racing. My mom has four aunts that were diagnosed with breast cancer. Each fought hard and survived, but not everyone is as fortunate to have such an outcome. This weekend I will proudly drive my pink Dollar General Toyota and wear my pink fire suit to honor every person who has been affected by this disease. They are true warriors in the fight against breast cancer.”
