ONLY BLACK MAGIC AT THIS MILE
Reed Sorenson endured his own tale of woe at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His Sylvania 300 was spent chasing speed and the right handling combination around the flat, 1.058-mile track. He finished 27th — one of four cars scored one lap down.
Reed Sorenson, driver, No. 83: “The car had no front grip and we fought to find speed most of the day. The crew tried all they could to find the right combo in the car — wedge, air pressure and track bar adjustments — but nothing seemed to work.” “It was a tough day considering the momentum we had coming off of Bristol (15th) and Atlanta (14th). But there’s no reason we can’t get it back this week at Dover, where the 83 car’s been strong in the past.”
UP NEXT AAA 400, Sunday, September 26, Dover International Speedway, Dover, Del.
