Oversees all mechanical work on the race car.  Changes rear tires during a pit stop.

Phil Surgen, Engineer, Elmore, VT
Responsible for applying race car engineering research to a specific track.  Makes changes to the race car based on feedback from the driver, crew, etc.

Mike Harrold, Tire Specialist, York, PA
Preparation of tires for race car and inspection after use. 

David Cropps, Interior Mechanic, Mt. Airy, NC
Responsible for ensuring the driver is safe in the car.
Hartwell Pritchett, Shock Specialist, Durham, NC
Preparation, test  and maintenance of shocks; documentation of shock preparation and performance.
